Director (Alex) had very good intuition and understanding for creative process, including from actors perspective… asked a lot of questions to have actor reflect on feelings/character/etc, and it was quite a fun workout and chance to explore the script and character along with fun improve scene. only post-thought I had was slightly wondering how much he was able to determine w/out taping becaause no camera present at audition, but he could have had a lotof experience (more than 1st NYFA project would suggest?) and knew what to look for w/out seeing it through lense… anyway will keep in touch w/ alex 4 future possibilities regardless of this casting because IMO he has a very good style and potential
